We first hired Escarpment on the recommendation of our architect to add a bedroom, bath, second living area, and utility to room to our old, small house. They minimized the pain of the process and we were very happy with the result. With Escarpment budgets were real, costs concerns were respected, and creative and practical ideas suggested. About a year later, we decided to remodel the old part of the house. There was no question of who to turn to. The remodel turned out great and looks as good as the new part of the house. Our second experience with Escarpment was consistent with the first. My parents used Escarpment Construction to build a house in the character-sensitive Rosedale neighborhood, and they recommended Warren to me. I was definitely happy when my full renovation, which included the addition of a second story. Since completion, I have become more and more impressed with Warren’s professionalism.

Over the next 5 years I owned that house, little things came up – like a design flaw by Kohler on a luxury shower, and a faulty thermostat on the air condition system. Each and every time I called Warren, I always got a same-day response from him. He had it fixed within days, for no additional charge. I have since built another home outside of Austin, and I now understand what an absolute nightmare a renovation/new construction can be. If I had the choice, in the future, I would never use another contractor other than Warren.
